Keepsake Designs by JS is a unique on-line baby boutique full of fun and darling personalized gifts and apparel. 

I have taught elementary school for the past six years and then met my husband Scott and moved to Springfield, Mo., where we currently reside. I love creating unique gifts for friends and family. I feel that they are more meaningful if they are handmade and designed with careful thought.

Keepsake Designs originally started in my mind when a friend asked me to make her a ring-bearer pillow for her wedding.

In the months to come I made several more for friends and found that I loved creating a keepsake for them. Then the baby showers came by the dozen! I started to make a keepsake pillow with the baby's name and birth date which became my "signature" gift that friends loved.

"You should sell these!" my friends always told me. But as any teacher can tell you, grading papers, creating lessons, and contributing to the education of youth takes a lot of time. So Keepsakes had to remain a hobby.

I am so fortunate to now have the opportunity and time to take the advice of my friends -- and to take Keepsake Designs to the next level.

My husband and I have a beautiful son. I also have two active nephews and three very busy nieces -- I adore them, and they're all great "models" for me, too! They inspire me to create new and fun items.

Thanks to ongoing support and input from my friends and family, Keepsake Designs is now a reality. I love being able to provide you with unique gifts and one-of-a kind items that truly come from the heart -- gifts that will be treasured and passed down for generations to come. Each is made with complete care and of the highest quality that your little one deserves.
